CLUE Discovers Two Well Preserved Shipwrecks in Lake Erie in 2008
February 11, 2009
The Cleveland Underwater Explorers (CLUE) submitted a post on two shipwrecks they discovered in Lake Erie in 2008, the three-masted schooner Riverside, located in 75 feet of water, and a wreck they are calling the “Buried Schooner” in 70 feet of water. Their post contains sidescan images, site sketches, and a photograph of these well preserved 19th century wrecks as well as a review of CLUE’s activities over the past year.
